EXPERIMENT FEASIBILITY ANALYZER When you design your own experiment you have to be able to come up with a hypothesis that you can truly test. THEREFORE, before deciding on an experiment, first ask yourself the following: 1. Do you have a question to which you would like to find the answer? 2. Can you transform your question into a hypothsis? 3. Can you design an experiment to test your hypothesis? 4. Is your experiment quantitative? (Are there things that can be measured?) 5. Are the materials needed for your experiment readily available? If not, can you and would you get them? 6. Can your experiment be done in the time allowed? (3-4 weeks) 7. Is your experiment safe? 8. Is the methodology of your experiment within your capabilities? (Can you do it? Do you have the necessary skills? Can you learn the skills in the time alloted?) 9. Do you have the teachers and your parents approval? If you can answer "yes" to all of the above, you have a questions that you can answer and a hypothesis that you can test, CONGRATULATIONS! Have fun finding your answer.
