The Ramsey School Association (RSA) is Ramsey Junior High’s parent group. The mission of RSA is to support the education of students at Ramsey Junior High; to support the staff at Ramsey Junior High in their role as educators; and to build a sense of community among students, parents and staff. RSA’s informal meetings are open to all parents and staff.
Some of the activities initiated by RSA in the past include:
• The development of by-laws to guide the group in its decision-making and activities;
• A presentation to parents about the developmental tasks of junior high students;
• A presentation to parents about curriculum, graduation standards, small learning communities, and other subjects related to St. Paul Senior High Schools;
• A chili dinner for staff during fall conferences;
• A staff appreciation dinner in the spring;
• A booth a Grand Old Days;
• Supporting Ramsey students in a school clean-up day and a poster contest
