STUDENT EXPECTATIONS 1. Students are expected to be on time for class daily and prepared with paper, pencil (or pen), a notebook, text, and assignments. Being unprepared or late (not in your seat) will result in detention. 2. Take responsibility for your work and behavior. a. hand in assignments completed and on time, late work will not be accepted after Unit test except when excused by absence w/o exception (it may be used as extra credit for no more than 70% of it’s original value ). Calendars for homework and class assignments are handed out monthly and available for the asking and can also be found on the internet at at this site b. in class assignments/activities are due on the day they are completed and can not be made up later c. be courteous at all times, respecting other people and their property d. despite hall passes don’t expect to use the lavatory or lockers during class time unless it is an emergency e. increase verbal skills at appropriate times only f. clean area around your assigned seat before leaving 3. Lack of responsibility results in less learned, lower grades and loss of time after school (detention) 4. Appropriate use of the Internet for research in the Computer Lab and Library while at Ramsey
