Here is some general information about the 2010 History Day
Innovation in History: Impact and Change
Dates: Here are due date for my students (teachers will be slightly different with some due dates). But some dates are the same for all classes.

Ramsey History Day Tuesday March 9th
The projects will be displayed in the cafeteria for judging and family viewing. In the library the videos, web sites can be viewed and the performances will take place. The event will begin at 4:00. Families are welcome to come and view the projects. Judging will also be going on at this time. From 6:00 to 7:00 there will be a reception and the students that have been chosen to go on to the regional competition will be announced.

The Regional Competition will be at St. Paul College (maps will be given to students for their families) on Monday March 16. Students going on to the regional competition will be given directions before the event.

Student projects that place in regionals will go on to the state event on Saturday May 1st at the University of Minnesota.

Extra Credit opportunities for all students. Students should use research facilities to improve their learning experience and add excellence to their projects at any time.
But History Day professionals, volunteers and teachers have donated time to meet with students at several libraries in St. Paul.
