January 31 1/30/2007 4:15 PM Today we have the laptop computers in my room.  Today's lesson will concentrate on familiarizing students with the laptop computers that we'll be using once a week all semester. January 30 1/30/2007 4:05 PM Today we read, notated and discussed a poem on SIMS, a video game.  Today's assignment was to start a list of things we'd like to write about, called "Writing Territories."  We also wrote a freewrite quietly for 15 minutes, preparing something to type on the computers tomorrow. January 29 1/29/2007 3:22 PM Today we read, notated and discussed a poem called "You Can't Write a Poem about McDonald's."  Student's wrote a one-page journal on what they wanted to accomplish this semester in Creative Writing.  They brought home a syllabus for a signature.
